WORTHLESSSTUDIOS collaborated with the Bronx River Art Center and Plywood Protection Project artist team KaN Landscape Design and Caroline Mardok to put on Teen Project Studio +2.0: a free, intensive, ten week, digital and fine arts program for teens and young adults ages 15-26. During the program, students learned how to brainstorm project ideas, write and present a project proposal, and bring a project from ideation to reality. Teen Project Studio +2.0 was a unique opportunity for students to experience and learn about the visual arts and creative industries in an interactive and challenging way. It also provided an opportunity to meet other teens and young adults with similar eagerness to learn and create during the pandemic.

WORTHLESSSTUDIOS and the artists guided the students through the process of creating models of a plywood sculpture inspired by In Honor of Black Lives Matter, the public art sculpture made by KaN Landscape Design and Caroline Mardok for the Plywood Protection Project. An in-person event showcasing the students’ work and the photographs by Caroline Mardok culminated the program.
